Mongolian Beef Noodles

ingredients

• 1 pound ground beef
• 8 oz rice noodles (flat)
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 2 TBS brown sugar
• 2 TBS Hoisin sauce
• 1 TBS sesame oil
• 2 TBS minced garlic (or 1 TBS garlic)
• Green onions
• Sesame seeds
• 1 TBS flour
• 2 TBS butter

the making of it

1. Brown your hamburger meat and 1 TBS garlic together. Drain and let rest.
2. While the hamburger is cooking, cook your noodles per package instructions. Drain and rinse in COOL water. Set aside.
3. Make your sauce. Using the pot your noodles was in, add the sesame oil and 1 TBS garlic to the pot. Let that simmer long enough to make the garlic good and fragrant. Then add soy sauce, brown sugar, and hoisin sauce. Stir together as it simmers. Add in 2 TBS butter and stir. Heat over medium heat and add in flour in little bits at a time and stir until you see the sauce thicken.
4. Pull from the heat and add in noodles and ground beef. Toss together with a spoon or tongs to combine.
5. Serve with green onions and sesame seeds for garnish!
