Hot Dog Chilli

The classic chili for topping hot dogs — five pounds of it, perfect for a cookout or a weekend of chili dogs.

ingredients

  • 5 LB Hamburger meat
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 1/3 cup dehydrated onions
  • 1 Qt Water
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup sugar

the making of it

  1. Brown hamburger meat and drain. Return to pot.
  2. Add in all other ingredients and mix well to combine.
  3. Simmer for 20-30 minutes until bubbly and serve.

notes

While cooking if chilli gets too thick and starts to burn add more water a little at a time.
